Instagram data

If you connect your own Instagram professional account to your store to import your posts as products, we use Meta's official Instagram API with your permission, and only for the purpose you asked for.

• What we read: your account id, username and account type, and your own posts only (the picture or video, the caption, the link and the date). We do not read your messages, comments, followers or anyone else's account, and we never post anything on your behalf.
• How we use it: when you choose a post, we copy its picture into your store and turn its caption into a product name, a description and, when the caption states one, a price. We do not use this data for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not share it for any other purpose.
• Who processes it for us: Amazon Web Services stores the pictures, DigitalOcean runs our servers, and Google (Gemini) writes the product name and description from the caption. They do not use it for their own purposes.
• Access token: stored encrypted, refreshed while the connection lasts, and deleted the moment you disconnect.
